What are ADTs?

Advisors Disciplined Trusts (ADTs) are designed to help control portfolio volatility by introducing various asset classes in the form of professionally selected trusts. ADTs provide investors the potential for defined income, daily liquidity, reasonable fees and a disciplined investment approach for a wide range of investment objectives and risk tolerance levels.

The ADT Philosophy

Trying to time the market and chasing yesterday’s hot sector has proved disastrous for many investors. AAM believes that the diversification and fixed transparency of ADTs is better suited to today’s sophisticated investor. We create disciplined portfolios that can serve as the building blocks for establishing a balanced asset allocation strategy for the buy and hold investor. ADTs may be appropriate for investors with a wide range of investment objectives from producing current income to capital appreciation.

Unlike other trust sponsors, AAM maintains a smaller, more succinct inventory of proprietary offerings, choosing to focus on solid disciplines and specific asset classes rather than short-term emotional market plays. Our primary goal is to provide investors with quality investment alternatives that complement their portfolio and have the potential to perform over time.

ADT Portfolio Creation

AAM’s ADT disciplines are developed, researched and evaluated using database screening techniques, fundamental analysis and the judgment of professional research analysts. ADTs provide investors with potential monthly income, daily liquidity, reasonable fees and a disciplined investment approach that may help to lower overall correlation within a portfolio.
